Hi I note you have Sussex Ouse Conservation Society listed on your links page with a link to our walks page. We have recently merged with a similar society on the neighbouring River Adur. The new organisation is called Ouse & Adur Rivers Trust and we have just launched a new website.

The websites for the old societies will shortly be taken down so please would you update with the new name plus new website address? The walks are on our resources page - if you email me I can send a link.

We appreciate your support in providing links to our website

Admin reply: All done - thank you for letting me know!

Of course I like your website, however you have to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very troublesome to inform you. Nevertheless I will definitely come back again!

Admin reply: If you could point them out (if it's not too troublesome) I will put them right.

I was just searching for this information for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your site. I wonder what's the Google's issue that doesn't rank this type of informative web sites closer to the top. Usually the top websites are full of garbage.

Admin reply: Thank you very much. I suppose we're not visited as much as the other sites but we try to give as much relevant information as we can.

Really enjoyed the Seaford to Cuckmere Valley hike.Absolutely stunning and not too hard for my 6 year old.Looking forward to trying your suggested Pulborough Brooks.

Admin reply: Glad you both enjoyed Seaford Head Paul. Stunning views eh!
PB is a great place to take kids. If you go really early (around dawn) and keep quiet, then you may see Barn Owls and you will have some very close encounters with the deer too!
Have a great time.

Thank you for the great walk recommendation from Eastbourne over Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters. We did it last week and it was wonderful - probably one of our favourite walks in the South East. Your comments also really made us laugh. Thank you. x

Admin reply: Very glad to recommend it Liz - that walk instantly becomes a favourite of everyones and it's definitely one of ours. Sussex by the sea!
Happy hiking
Andy & Gill

Wow! I have just discovered your site. I've just started walking ( for pleasure as opposed to necessity !) this year at the age of 58 and getting out into our amazing countryside is giving me so much pleasure. I dragged my husband with me and he is suprised to find that he is enjoying it more than he could have imagined. Part of the pleasure is discovering nature, the flora and fauna, and tryng to identify the things we see, hence my delight in your wonderful photo's. Got drenched today but finished our 12 mile walk from East Meon. Wish we could get further along the Downs and inspired by your site. Hope you don't mind I am using one of your photos of Old WSinchester Hill as my Desktop. Saving your Videos as a treat for tomorrow. Can't wait

Lynne

Admin reply: Thank you very much for your kind words Lynne and the pleasure is indeed all ours if we’ve inspired you in any way. Walking in the countryside is sometimes viewed as being a very boring thing to do, but as you’ve both already started to find out, with the right attitude it can be exciting, stimulating and best of all very healthy for mind and body. You got soaked in beautiful East Meon today (we know it well) but I bet it didn’t dampen your spirits or wash the smile off your faces!
We’re more than happy for you to nab our photo for your desktop – that is, until you have your own effort to replace it!
All the very best – Andy & Gill.
Happy walking.
