Newlands Corner (Surrey)
The bike had been off the road for 2 weeks with a
snapped drive belt, so
today was the first time we had been able to go out for a ride together for
several weeks. We ditched all ideas of walking or birdwatching and just rode to
Newlands Corner in the Surrey Hills, stopped for tea and eccles cake, then rode
home again. The twisty back roads were flooded and dirty and full of every type
of obstacle. Just the type of ride we like.
