Nature walks throughout the year

Sunday 11th June 2006
Warnham Nature Reserve
It was just so hot today. We decided to go to Warnham Nature Reserve and lie
down by the lake and do very little. That's just what we did, but from our
vantage spot we were able to watch all of the birds and their chicks. There were
coots, nuthatches, mallards, great-crested grebes and common terns all with
young. We also had great views of reed warblers. The place is looking great with
all of the undergrowth green and lush. Grass snakes have been seen there every
day recently.
