Bignor Weed Festival
While we
were out yesterday we saw lots of signs advertising the Weed & Wildflower
Festival at Bignor Church, so today we went there. It was great! The inside of
the church had been furnished with a sheep pen, a tree house and a stream
running the length of the aisle. Outside in the churchyard were lots of stalls
all to do with Sussex life and traditional crafts. We sampled some of the
excellent Sussex mead and wolfed down roast Sussex lamb. On the way home we
stopped at Pulborough brooks to say goodnight to the adders.
